Reasons why social media is harmful to us

What if tell you that around half of the world’s population uses social media and even cats having their Instagram account. Social media is currently 3.96 billion worldwide, in 2021. No wonder, it was doubled since 2015.

We probably can’t go out without our mobile or one last time checking our notification. When did that last time you slept without checking your Facebook messages or recent likes to your post? You probably don’t even remember.

The above statement that I have a sermon, basically means that how social media has trapped your brain. Even though, we can’t even eat without replying within seconds.

It is surreptitiously affecting our mental health and well-being as well as our time is concerned. Social has media has two sides. One is good, and the other is a negative impact. We’ll be gesturing our thoughts near negative sides, as it prefers a lot.

STRESS AND DEPRESSION

Social media induces more stress than it relieves. Chronic users are more likely to face mental health issues, counting the symptoms as well. As well all know our cell phones and engagement with social media releases a chemical called Dopamine. So, when you get a text you feel good, right?

Let’s wrap this up in short. Social media without ejaculating, show you someone else better life while most of us compare it to our life's negative parts. It just drives your mood upside down. This is why most of us are depress and living a stressful life, without adopting who we are.

TIME

Time is money, someone said. We all were taught how to manage time, maintain, and follow the timetable. As social media took over the citizenry, it is most likely to be doom soon.

We are most of them having an issue of not having enough time, while what we do is spend 5 hours on our social media account. An average person spends 2 hours and 24 minutes on social media per day.

LESS SLEEP

Who doesn’t like having a better sleep? Everyone does. We often that forget scrolling feed before can cost us our sleep and can also feeble our eye sights. It has become an addiction for most teenagers.

Due to constant scrolling Instagram or Facebook feed, we may see unprohibited things. Which can ruin our whole night. It is because our phone is always near our bed or beside our pillow.

Just a notification and momentarily, you may be scrolling the content, you don’t even care about. What’s the purpose of the content in our life. An hour passes and we don’t even realize it.

Brainwashing

All that you see on social media is most of fake. Actresses or actors pretend to be jubilant with their lives, but they aren’t. Also, they aren’t pretty as well. What you see is totally fake.

Instagram and Snapchat filters are doing much of the job for them. We don’t know what surreptitiously hidden on social media. We watch, we like, and we want our lives exactly like them. But understanding the fact that, not everyone's lives are not supreme like we all expect them to be.

CONCLUSION

In sum, we need to contemplate how much time we spend on and how much we learn from social media. Social Media is good in some ways, but it can also harm us, as well.

It is sometimes oppressive and unflattering. But, it is sometimes known and no more agitation in that.
