Sleep is essential for every human being. It helps you to activate your brain and refreshes it. It energies your body and helps you to relieve stress at least for hours. Better sleep boosts your immune system and fights minor diseases.
Most young and adult children are not contemplating this. 1 out 3 adults do not get enough at night, causing them brain damage. But, sleeping a lot makes you lazy as well. It is preferable to sleep at least 7 to 8 hours daily.

Using a smartphone before going to bed
Smartphones are literally in everyone's hands nowadays. Even 3 years old holds an iPhone, tablets, etc. It is foremost become an addiction for most people on Earth.
This attachment to our smartphones has doomed our night sleep. 66% of Americans admit that they use mobile phones before going to sleep. According to King Saud University, 90% owned a smartphone. And nine out of ten use their smartphone before bed.
A peaceful sleep sounds good to everyone. But scrolling your social media feed before bed engages our brain and makes us active. This is a clear sign, you probably can’t sleep at night.
The best way to avoid this is to create discomfort from your smartphone. Just put it somewhere, and read a book instead.
You will experience some undesirable feelings, which will happen because of your strong connection with your smartphone. But once the attachment is demolished. You might notice some changes and it will help you to sleep better at night.
Not following a proper schedule
If you are not rigorously following a proper schedule, it may result in a lack of sleep. Some of us start sleeping in the evening, which causes us sleepless nights. We also send signals to our body for example “It’s not the right time to sleep, let’s watch another episode”, this is how you adjust your bedtime. But it doesn’t mean you can’t change that.
Night workers accuse of less sleep, due to lack of circadian rhythm. It is the 24-hours cycle between our sleep and wakefulness. According to the University of Bergen, bright light has reduced these complaints in night-work experiments.
There are also environmental causes that can affect your sleep. It can be temperature, noise, and lighting.
· Temperature: The ideal room temperature mentioned by experts is that around 18 degrees Celsius is suitable for a good sleep. But in some places, the weather is often hot. So, try wearing clothes according to the weather.
· Noise: — A peaceful sleep sounds amusing for everyone. The noise disturbance can result in a lack of sleep at night. Try making your bedroom noiseless by blocking noises that are coming from the outside world.
· Light: — Artificial lights make you awake all day. Turn off the lights and make your bedroom darker to send a signal to your brain that it's time to sleep.
